A Beautiful Mind
In the movie, A Beautiful Mind, members of the Princeton math department present their pens to Professor John Nash, played by Russell Crowe. The ceremony, albeit very touching, was fabricated for the movie. Last June the scene came to life as a group of seniors in Dave’s Advanced Placement Psychology class, one by one, walked up to his desk at the end of class and presented him with their pens. He is honored, flattered, and plainly moved by his student’s actions. What a beautiful tribute to a teacher with such a wonderful mind.
For this page, I used a template Jessica Sprague #1.1.4. Boy does this make it easy to make a page. Half the work was done for you.
I found great elements and papers for this alyout by Echo Park Hybrid. Their, For the Record Collection is perfect.
Happy Monday, I hope you have a great week.

Dear Mom,
I am such a poor letter writer, yet I would give anything to be able to write to you today. It has been two years since you left us and I miss you so much. I have so many questions to ask you and so many things to tell you.
I love you more and more with each passing day.

Batter Up
ScrapMatters had a challenge this week involving sports pages. I have been collecting sports kits since the grandkids are involved in so many sports already. This page is from Alex’s adventures in baseball last spring. Hot pink pants and a pink bat were a little bit difficult to work with as most sports kits just don’t think PINK!
Have a great day.

Dazzling
The nighttime at Disneyland is simply spectacular. The World of Color is presented on a colossal scale. The dazzling spectacle uses explosive water fountains and color to deliver a truly fantastic experience. Touching on themes ranging from sea, sky and space to dreams, fantasy and love, the show is at times beautiful, majestic and dreamy and at other moments epic, explosive and wicked. Spanning the length of a football field and towering 200 feet into the air, the water show is mammoth. We got a little damp, but enjoyed it immensely nonetheless.
For this page, I used My Magical Place by Haynay Designs, The Magic In You BGD, Brittdes-Arabian Nights, Laurie’s Scraps Magic Moments, and Sahlin Studio Enjoy the Moment.
Thanks for stopping by.

Reflection
I did not use a kit for this page as my major focus was the photo. Nighttime Disney is something to behold. I just loved how the lights were reflected off the water. It was a stunning setting. The kids and Terry are pictured here in the huge Ferris Wheel.
Thanks for taking a look.

Template Tuesday at Jessica Sprague
This week a template I made is being featured at Jessica Sprague.com and it’s FREE. Pick the template up here. I love the sample I made of Alex’s first day of school last year. What a happy little kindergartner.
So today, one year later, she is off to first grade. What a lucky teacher to get this sweet, enthusiastic little girl for an entire year.
Happy New School Year.
