Love at First Bite??

. . .well, not really.  This was Connor’s first exposure to solid food.  He was not really in love at first bite.  In fact, he still isn't in love with food unless it is chocolate or humus.

Nicole gave me these last week but I put them on the back burner-oops.  She was so busy with her move during June, she just couldn’t get the pictures to me. But, she did take pictures every day. Hurray!!

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you really 3?

Ahoy there mateys, can you believe that Connor turned 3?  Here he is all dressed up as Captain Hook. 

For his birthday, I used a  a Pirate’s Life, Designs by Kiki, at the Digital Scrap Cafe. This kit is perfect for birthday parties!  A Pirate’s Life was really handy for his birthday card and gift bags.

Life 365 July Pages

Jet lag is real.  We have been back from Egypt for 3 days now, and I am finally getting some energy back.  Nicole kept a log while we were traveling which made it easy to keep up with her 365 project.

Gina Marie Huff, at Weeds and Wildflowers, just released her fantastic July pages.  Her computer died at the end of June so she has had to play catch up, but catch up she did.  The kit is teeming with color with great elements and papers.

If you look closely, you can see Nicole’s sprained ankle.  Trekking around in 110 degree heat is pretty exhausting.  Can you imagine doing it in a walking cast.  What a trooper.

Whispering

When I saw the kit I thought about baby Alex. Here she and Lambie are whispering secrets to each other.

In this shot I am adoring my brand new grandchild.  What a superb memory. Such joy!
