Hey there, hi there, ho there

We’re back from Disneyland.  What a wonderful adventure.  It is the perfect place for a five-year-old.  Alex was is awe of everything.  She even enjoyed standing in line-no kidding!! I will have some Disney pages soon. We only have the one photo of all of us, so here we are on our way into the Character breakfast.

Of course, I have a couple of pages to show you.  DigiKit - Quickstep Vol. 2 - The Memory Lane Quick Pages is just the greatest kit and brand new from Jo Hanna at 2 Peas in a  Bucket.  This kit includes 7 quick pages that co-ordinate with her Memory Lane kit.

Elation with a Capital E!

Last week I got some super news.  I was selected to serve on Jessica Sprague’s Creative Team. 

I'm just elated. I remember just last year, picking up Jessica's Computer Tricks 3 magazine so I could use it to fill the time on a long plane ride to Cabo.  There I sat with my magazine and highlighter wishing that I could learn to do a fraction of the techniques described-wow; I am flying again now.  My plane has arrived!!

For my first assignment I’m working for the Elle’s Studio. This store is filled with all kinds of scrapping goodies.  I just love all the hybrid projects.

Today she is highlighting two new sets of Christmas cards.  Easy peezy!  Christmas Photo Cards - set 2

Burning Love by Jo Hanna

Aren’t these fall colors in Burning Love just gorgeous?  Jo Hanna made a beautiful and extremely versatile fall kit.  The word art is outstanding.  You can find this kit at Two Peas in a Bucket.

The first page I have today is of Michelle and Zee “captured” in my back yard while they were in Seattle last month.  I told them I needed some good looking young people for my pages and they allowed me to snap them.  Thanks a lot.

Next we have Alex and Connor frolicking in the leaves at a local park.

I love the rooster!!

Blast from the Past

  Three little sweeties a half a century ago!!

For this page I used Val c designs, Be Inspired – Memories. It is packed with word art in both French and English. You can find this and other great kits by Val at the Digital Scrap Cafe. This kit makes memory-capturing a piece of cake.

On a roll…

Val c designs, at the Digital Scrap Cafe, has such lovely kits, it is so easy to create pages. Just look at these charming kits. First we have Be Inspired White Ground. It is stocked with 14 papers and 29 cheery elements. This kit is on sale for $3.67!!  A MAXI BUNDLE - Be Inspired - White ground AND- BLACKGROUND Valc. designs is on sale for $6.37.

Next is Collab Fraction de seconde.  It contains a whopping 65 elements and 25 papers.

I made this page for a DSC coffee cup challenge. The word art is by Pom.  Dave and the kids are coming home from the park.

Lastly, I have a page from the kit, Be Inspired – Kit Simplicity. Such beautiful papers and elements. It also has 27 very useful stamps, both plain and distressed. This kit is a steal for $4.80.

This page was part of the Scraplift challange for this week.  I ended up taking us out of a Photo at the beach and putting us on a backround from Ireland to get a better color match.

I did this page for a template challenge at the Digital Scrap Cafe.  The template was a design by the talented Aprilisa.  Snail Mail is my absolute favorite kit by Val c Designs.  Remember those days when we used to get all of our mail delivered by the postman?  There was no internet.  It was, and still is, a thrill to get a letter or a postcard.

Snail Mail is stocked full of delightful papers, clever word art,  and perfect elements.  You can find the kit in Val’s shop at the Digital Scrap Cafe for just $4.80.  It’s a great kit for scrapping those messages that we want to remember.
