Every{day} Life has begun

This year Nicole and I have decided to do a Project 52 instead of a project 365.  Gina Marie Huff at Weeds and wildflowers has made a new collection which will work perfectly for this project.  It is called Every{day} Life.   This year she is doing a collaboration with Cinzia Loosemore and it is fabulous.  I look forward to the new series.

One Buck Wednesday–January 26

It’s One Buck Wednesday at Jessica Sprague.com.  We have a cute new kit by Carina Gardner, Oh Boy Stickers.  It contains 24 stickers for a little boys including various dinosaurs, and robots.  Can you believe that this kit is just a buck!!

Bare Necessities is a Free kit from Jo Hanna to celebrate the opening of her new store, Pixelpress.nl.  The kit is full of well, the “bare necessities” one needs to create or finish pages.  It contains basic papers, frames, word art, ribbon, twine, stitching, fasteners of all kinds, and two alphas.  It is that perfect “Go to” kit.

I made two pages from Bare Necessities. First, Connor is nonstop energy when he comes Grandma’s house to play.

Next, Alex and Grandpa enjoy a nice cup of tea with her “breakable set” of dishes.

JoHanna has two wonderful new albums in her Two Peas in a Bucket Shop today, the Books of Wonder.  She made one for boys and one for girls.  I was so happy how Alex's turned out.

Jessica Sprague.com has some delightful new items in the store today.  I Heart Doodles 2 by liv.edesigns caught my eye.

I made a Valentine with the kit. The Cuttlebug heart embosser made a nice background for the doodle.

Nicole's 2010 365-Photo-A-Day Project is Done

Nicole and I finished our joint effort. Her 2010 365 book is done.  It is surprising how well it worked, creating a 365 book while living 1/2 a continent to an ocean away from each other.  You just got to love the internet. Here are her book covers.  All we need is a final edit and off to the printers it will go.

Her back page is a list of the cities she was in each day during 2010.  Unbelievable!!

For the covers, I just used the Sweet & Simple Pages - March '10 - ¾ templates since they coordinated so well with the pages.

The Stats 2010 Freebie

For the past two years I have compiled a data sheet regarding the highlights of the year for my 365 project.  The kit I used is Gina Marie Huff’s, Sweet and Simple Life Collection.  You can find this wonderful collections as well as her new series, Everyday Life in the Shoppe at Weeds and Wildflowers.

365 at Jessica Sprague.com

Are you ready to start your 365 project for 2011?  Carina Garner at Jessica Sprague.com has started a 365 series, Design 365, with all sorts of goodies.  I used her DESIGN 365 - Calendar Masks  for this recap of my January 2010 page.  You can find it here.

I like the sepia for this page.  It softens the tone a bit.

Life on the Go

Nicole was in a different country every month last year.  Oftentimes, she was in more than one country each month.  The other day she told me that a common rule of thumb regarding jet lag is that it takes one day for each hour difference in time zones traveled to recuperate.  I figure she will catch up from 2010 jet lag some time next June. But then again, she will travel even more this year. Oh dear.
